Dear All,
Guess most of you are already aware of the invitation for the 2007 Pu-erh Event in Pasadea, CA (June 16th). Mr. Liang of WuShing Publishing Co and I just decided the tasting menu (core of the event, right ^__^) as below:
Tasting Menu:
- 50’s: Hun Yin (Red Label)
- 60’s: Ba Zhong Huang Yin
- 70’s: Zhong Cha Jian-Tie “Simplified Character”
- 80’s: Xue Yin 7532
- 90’s: Blue-Black Label 99 Green Big Tree
- After 2000: 2006 Taipei Tea Culture Expo Memorial Cake
I think the goal of this menu is to let people experience the most representative(may as well be the creme de la creme) pu-erh in each period. I hope it makes you drooling enough to come join us (free!) in June.
As I expected, the total cost of teas ARE significantly more than the rental cost of the courtyard on Pacific Asia Museum... But it's ok, I just need to talk to Irene to cut back on this year's IRA contribution and Yuan's piano fund : )
If you have any idea how to make this event better and more fun, please feel free to leave your comment here or in our blog.
See ya! Guang |
